Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Snow White
Just a quick post for today: Simon Says Stamp’s Wednesday Challenge.
I’ve been doing a lot of Christmas specific cards lately so I wanted to make a festive card but not necessarily use snow. I decided to use lots of whites, light grays, and silver and white sequins to give a cool snowy day appearance. I adhered them from the corner out almost like a border. I just love the sparkle it gives the card. Like snow! ;)
For the background, I decided to use Concord & 9th’s palette die with Hero Arts Soft Granite ink to look like weathered wood. I added the word Joy from MFT stamps to the bottom right corner as the sentiment and stamped a little holly leaf and berries in muted colors next to it for just a dash of color.
I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about how I designed this card for SSS Wednesday Challenge! Can’t wait to see all of yours!
