Card Front Panelling To Add Interest - Catherine Pooler Release
HELLO CRAFTERS! It's that time again! I hope you're enjoying hopping along with us for the newest Catherine Pooler release. If you've gotten here and didn't start at the beginning, click here for Catherine's kick off post.
This release is doubly exciting. Not only are there brand new stamps, dies, stencils, AND PAPER, but also stamps and dies that were only available through a past Stamp Of Approval collection are now available in the shop. I feel like I'm forgetting something...oh right...
ALL THAT JAZZ INK IS HERE!
I decided to focus on creating panels for card fronts which I have been loving so much lately. It draws such interest to the design of a card without adding too much. Check out this quick tutorial on my YouTube channel to see how creating a panel completely elevated this card.
5 Commenters will be chosen at random to receive TWO free ink pads (and free shipping!)
Today is day 2!
Now, let's get some color in here! I used the Leaf Motifs stamp set which is now available in the shop to create a colorful spring-y card. I used bright colored inks including All That Jazz which is also now available in the shop.
I also used the new Sand Dunes card stock (which is a really beautiful craft card stock) for the Hello die sentiment. To create this panel I used the scalloped edge die included in the Tags Etc. Dies set newly available. Just to add a little color, I used a Copic marker around the entire edge.
Finally (for today) I brought the Black Tie Gala paper back.
I again used the scalloped edge die to create this panel but I used it twice partially to create a vacant middle area. To the middle, I added a piece of the thick black striped Black Tie Gala patterned paper. To elevate it just a bit, I added a thin strip of CP's new Vellum Card Stock across the patterned panel. I decided to make this an any occasion card as well so again I used the hello die and triple embossed it with gold embossing powder. Finally, I adhered that right over the vellum.
Keep hopping along and commenting for your chance to win!
