I made lots of fun projects using a few of the goodies available and I am in love with how versatile (and cute!) they are! Here's a supply list of what I used for these projects.
For a couple of my cards I used a super quick and simple technique using the Cozy Knit embossing folder to create this amazing textured card front in deep blue and dark red colors.
I then used the same colored card stock to emboss sentiments from the Holiday Joy stamp set and adhered them over the embossed card front with foam tape to add dimension. These cards were so fun and simple to make that I could have made all of my holiday cards in one sitting!
For my next card, I did very minimal stamping and instead opted to use the tree die in the Special Day Tags die set. I cut the tree die out with lots of different colored card stock and arranged them onto a card front that I scored to add design . For the sentiment I used the "Merry Christmas" stamp embossed in white on black card stock and adhered it directly over the die cuts.
For my final project, I made a tag! I love this little tag. I used the tree die again with some green and red card stock. I took those die cuts and placed them in the embossing folder to add texture to them. I love this look and the colors against the kraft card stock that I used for the tag. The tag dies also come with "to" and "from" words which makes the tags look a little more special, in my opinion. To add a little sparkle, I used the Holiday Sparkles Gems as stars on top of my trees.
I hope that you've enjoyed learning a bit about how I used the Fun Stampers Journey products now available from Spellbinders! Here's the link to the products again. Just CLICK HERE. Thank so much for stopping by! I'll see you again soon!

Okee dokee, let's get into the card!
I absolutely love the characters in this set so I kept it nice and simple to be sure the focus was on them. The sentiment "I'll always have your back" jumped right out at me so I knew I wanted to put one of these little birds on one of the rhino's backs. I know, I know, he's on his head! But, when I was putting it all together that's what worked best in my opinion. He's got his back and his head! Ha. I stamped these three critters out using my MISTI onto a piece of 80lb card stock using Momento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in using Copic markers (list below). I then cut them out using their coordinating dies and set them aside.
For the rhino - C1, C3, C5
For the birds - Y17, Y13 - For the Beaks - Y38
For the scene, I kept it super simple, I placed a piece of blue masking tape across the top portion of the card and blended some Catherine Pooler ink in Lime Rickey in a downward motion to act as the grass. For the sky I used another piece of tape and blended upward with Catherine Pooler's It's A Boy ink.
I adhered my critters to the scene using foam tape to give dimension to the card. I embossed my sentiment onto a piece of black card stock using white embossing powder and adhered that with foam tape as well. I finally adhered it all to an A2 sized card base and that's it!
I hope that you've enjoyed learning a little about how I created this simple and cute card using the new Rhino Bird Day set! Please continue hopping along and comment to win! I'll see you very soon!
