Pinkfresh Studio June Washi Release Blog Hop
Hey everyone! Thanks so much for hopping along with us today on the Pinkfresh June Washi Release blog hop. You should have arrived from Caly Person's blog. To continue on with the hop, find the link to the next stop at the end of this post.
Though this release is so much more than just Washi tape we'll be focusing on the 4 large washi's and the 2 smaller size washi's in my post. I've created this video showing just how versatile the Washi is along with supporting roles from the coordinating stamps and dies from the release. Check it out here:
Pinkfresh is giving away $25 on this blog post! Just comment for your chance to win, and be sure to check out the Pinkfresh blog for your chance to win the entire release!
I used the Floral Clusters Washi tape with the coordinating die and stamp set to create this simple but beautiful card. The large cluster image is so eye catching and works perfectly on its own as the highlight of your card.
The Eucalyptus Fantasy set is a beautifully designed washi tape that coordinates with the Eucalyptus Fantasy stamp and die sets. I created this golden accent card by lining up and stamping the coordinating stamp with the image on the washi tape and embossing it with gold embossing powder.
This card was made using the new Watercolor Frames Washi tape. I love the soft yellow and pink watercolor look paired with the gold hexagonal frames. For this card, I heat embossed a floral image from the Just a Little Lovely stamp set in gold to compliment the gold in the tape.
Next, I used the Rainbow Washi tape to create this incredibly easy to make card. This washi has sections of rainbow and ombre colors so you can really create lots of different looks with it. Here I used the full rainbow section and included a simple Thank You sentiment and the "for making my day better" sub sentiment just underneath.
For a bit of a different look, the thin Watercolor Washi creates this fun patterned card using different triangular shapes. I used a craft knife to cut the excess tape when it happened to overlap another piece to create a cohesive pattern. I finished it off with some black watercolor splatters to add more of an artsy look.
Finally, I used the Floral Cluster Washi to create a coordinating gift wrap and tag. I love that the patterns and images match while still looking handmade. I love giving these small touches to add personality to handmade gifts.
Your next stop is the super talented Angelica Conrad. Thanks so much for hopping along! I'll see you again soon!
