Ink Blending Techniques - The Stamp Market Blending Brushes

by - July 30, 2019

Hey there! Thanks so much for stopping by. I couldn't help myself when The Stamp Market released their new blending brushes. I love that they're so affordable and the sleek look of the white brushes, but what's more is they blend like a dream. The bristles are soft and not too condensed allowing for an effortless blend that looks beautiful each time. I've got a video with a few different techniques to try with your new brushes! Check that out here:

I decided to create a few heart shaped note cards using the Sorry stamp and die set in conjunction with these blending practices. I love how effortless creating this fun purple ombre look was.

I also created this galaxy heart which can sometimes be a little intimidating. The smallest of the three brushes really helps to create seamless blends of the black around the pops of color to get a nice contrast without the black being too overwhelming.

Finally, I used some of The Stamp Market's patterned paper as inspiration for this next blend. I kept in light and simple, and included the stamp "Sorry" over the top of the blend embossed in white to match the outer edge of the heart.

I hope that you've enjoyed learning a bit about how I created these blends with the new blending brushes from The Stamp Market. I hope you'll check them out at the link below, and if you're interested in any of the products used today you can also find those links below.

I'll see you again soon!
