The Stamp Market - 1 Stamp 3 Ways (Instagram Hop)

by - August 05, 2019

Hi, my friends! Thanks so much for joining me today. We're having a little celebration for the newest release from The Stamp Market over on Instagram. Caly Person, Carly Teeminner and myself have teamed up and each created projects focusing on the brand new Hand-Painted Garden bundle. The stamps layer in such a way that creates a real painted look to the images and gives such a beautiful arts-y look to a project.

I decided to pair mine with the new Friendship stamp set. This set has large words and sentiments in varying scripts that can really add a focal point to your card. I went with the large "Hi" word from the set and decided to ink it up in a metallic gold ink to add some shine. Since this would take up a big portion of my card, I knew I'd use the florals to frame the word and compliment it, rather than take it over.

I used three flower images from the set and layered them each a little differently. For the center flower, I used a rosy pink color for the base and added only the final layer with the same metallic gold ink that I used for the "Hi" stamp. For the yellow flower, I used only 3 layers and omitted the final layers to create a more abstract image, and decided to use all layers for the smallest, purple flower in my bouquet. My favorite image from the set may be that small blooming branch. I just love the way it comes together and creates a detailed piece that compliments the other images perfectly. Finally, I added some of the leaves in, deciding to only stamp the base layer for many of them. To finish it off, I added some of the new Clear Droplets from The Stamp Market. I think it give such fresh look complimenting the flowers.

The great thing about this set is that you can layer it how you see fit. If you're looking for a more detailed look, you can use all of the layers, but if you're looking for a simpler more abstract image, using only some of the layers works perfectly.
