Hello crafters! Thanks so much for coming by my stop on the Pinkfresh September Holiday Release blog hop! This release is by far one of my favorites ever and the Pinkfresh team and talented guests have so much inspiration for you today. There are also prizes to win by commenting on each stop, but I'll get into that in a bit. First, let's take a look at one of my favorite sets from the release, the Cozy Christmas Wishes stamp set.
This set is one large stamp made up of a beautifully lettered sentiment surrounded by small, festive images. It's a wonderful set to emboss, as shown here. I masked off the center so that I could emboss the images in a deep green color and use gold for the sentiment. I think this just gives a bit of a different look and draws a bit more attention. I also used the die cut bow from the partial cut flowers die set to add the feel of a present to the design.
I also used the Cozy Christmas Wishes stamp set to create a colorful yet simple design that offers a little more to look at than the embossed version above. I kept this one super simple, and used some colored pencils to add details and dimension to the small images.
Let's get into some of the prize details!
Pinkfresh is giving away the entire release to one lucky commenter over on the Pinkfresh Blog. You can boost your chances to win by commenting here on my blog and every stop along the way for a chance to win $25 to the shop! Winners will be announced on Monday, October 7th on the GIVEAWAY PAGE.
My next card is using the Skiing By stamp and coordinating die set. I love these cute characters and how they're immediately put into motion just by pairing them with the mountain and slope dies that are included in the coordinating die set.
Here, I decided to use no-line coloring with my colored pencils to give a fluffy look to this super cute Polar Bear. The colorful mountains and sky are ink blended with some super special inks that you may see a little sneak peek of in this picture! I wonder what those could be? More on that soon!
As I mentioned before, the slope , mountain, and the snowy top dies are all included in the Skiing By coordinating die set! It's like two for one with coordinating and scenery dies.
Finally for today, I've got a card using the Layered Wreath die set. This set is so great because it gives you so much creative freedom to create your own wreath. The outer and inner dies will create a textured wreath that you can use with several different colors of card stock to create a personalized image. It's complete with either berries or flowers with are also included in the die set.
I hope that you've enjoyed seeing some of my creations using the new Holiday Release from Pinkfresh Studio! Don't forget to leave a comment before hopping on for your chance to win $25 to the shop. Your next stop is my incredibly talented friend, Caly Person. You can find the list and order of the entire hop just below the supply list. Thank you so much for stopping by! See you soon.
