Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Daffodil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

by - June 22, 2020

Hey there! I'm so glad you could join us today on the inspirational blog hop for the newest Paint-A-Flower addition; Daffodil. This is the perfect spring/early summer floral to add to your projects and with two image options included in the set, there are so many possibilities for design!

I created a simple card with the stemming daffodils and used a no-line coloring technique to bring them to life. Using Altenew's Artist Markers, I colored in the image making sure to add a mix of  shadows and highlights to achieve a dimensional look. To add little more softness I went over the image with coordinating colors of colored pencils. I love the velvety look that adding colored pencil gives to floral images especially.

Prizes:
To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog for a chance to win. We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on THIS POST on 06/30/2020.

I hope that our hop has helped inspire you with ways to use your new Paint-A-Flower set! I can't wait to see what you create. Be sure to leave a comment on this post before continuing on the hop for your chance to win a $30 gift card to the shop!
