Altenew May 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil/Ink/Enamel Pin Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
Hey there! Thanks so much for making your way to my stop on Altenew's May 2019 Stamp and Die release. As always, we've got tons of inspiration for you throughout the hop and lots of PRIZES to be won! More on that in just a bit but first, check out this video from my Youtube channel showing how to easily make TWO complete wreath stamped cards with just one go round. Check that out here:
If you prefer wreath stamping to be more simple, check out the gorgeous new Everlasting Love stamp set. There's a large wreathe stamp that I used in my card example below, but also much smaller wreath that can be used on tags or as a smaller focal point on cards. The florals and leaves are also perfect for coloring in with markers, pencils or watercolors.
Another set that I am absolutely crazy about in this release is the Fancy Greetings stamp set. The sentiment in both the above card and the one you see below are from this set. The font is incredibly classy and I love that some are large and some are smaller, so you have the option of making the sentiment the main focus or a complimentary addition to the card.
To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 5/15/2019 for a chance to win. We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $20 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 5/18/2019.
The Ornate Foliage Stamp and Die sets are perfect for creating beautifully designed patterns for backgrounds or main images on your projects. I decided to use Altenew Crisp Dye Ink in Dusk for a neutral look to the pattern I stamped for this square card pictured below. To add more dimension, I first die cut each image individually, then used a circle die after I'd arranged them into a pattern. This allowed me to create a circular pattern while still having the dimension from using several die cuts together as one pattern.
Finally for today, I'm showing the Fine Bouquet Die. This delicate die is so great for adding detail to your projects. I used mine with Altenew Alcohol Markers to create different color florals for this delicate background created with several cuts of the die.
I hope that you have enjoyed seeing how I used some of the products from the newest stamp and die release! Your next stop on the hop is the incredibly talented Lydia Evans. You can find the full hop list below the Supply Links.

ReplyDeleteWow an array of dazzling projects! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI think I NEED that rose die! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love the Ornate Foliage card. I was wondering whether you had to align all the die cut flowers on a card or trace around them once you had arranged them if you cut them before layering them? I don't think a die cutter could cut through multiple thicknesses of card but I wasn't sure of the method.
ReplyDeleteYour inspiration pieces are gorgeous!!
