Altenew May 2019 Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

by - May 21, 2019

Hi there! Thanks so much for stopping by my stop on the Altenew Stencil Release Blog Hop! There's tons of inspiration, tips, and prizes for you on the hop so let's just get right to it. I created this short video tutorial demonstrating how to use your inks with embossing paste to create a customized paste for your projects. It's super simple and the result is beautiful! Check it out here:

Stencils are so versatile and probably one of the most affordable items in your craft room. You can use them with inks, embossing paste, and even put them through your die cutting machine to add texture and design to your card stock!

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 5/28/2019 for a chance to win. We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew Card Blog on 5/31/2019.
There's also a couple stencils in this release that are meant to be rotated and layered to give a more dimensional look. I used the Floral Garden stencil in my video, but there's also the Heart Builder stencil which gives a really amazing 3 Dimensional look.

Finally, I used the brand new metallic gold ink from Altenew to ink blend with the Deco Wonder stencil. I love the shine and sleek look of this one. It reminds me so much of The Great Gatsby.

Be sure to keep hopping along with us for more inspiration and don't forget to comment at each stop for your chance to win lots of great prizes! Your next stop on the hop is the incredibly talented Amber Rain Davis but you can find the entire hop list just after the supply list below!
